DOULA SERVICES
A doula is the newest member of the maternity team and is the person who stays with you continuously throughout the birth ( and a few hours after), offering you encouragement and various support and comfort techniques that will help alleviate pain and help you realize a positive birth experience. A doula should be booked up to 6—8 weeks before your due date.Fees: $450 for 8 hours of labour & $45 per hour thereafter
INFANT /CHILD CPR, FIRST AID & BABY SAFETY
Saturday 1:30 - 5:00 PM$175 per couple / $95 single
2 Classes only in 2012: March 24th and September 22nd
Book early as classes are limited in size!
CHILDBIRTH PREPARATION
Six-Week SeriesTuesdays 6 – 8 PM $175 per couple
January 10— February 14
Feb 28 - April 3
April 24 - May 29
June 5 - July 10
August 28 - October 2
October 16 - November 20
N.B. It is recommended that classes be taken in your second trimester and completed 3 – 4 weeks prior of your due date.
Classes are kept small to make them personalized to your needs, so register early to secure your place!
ABOUT PRIVATE CLASSES
Because it is important to Nurturing Birth Experience…Before, During & After, that all couples enter childbirth pre-pared, we also offer private classes for your convenience. These classes can be taught at RVC Rehab Services at $ 85 per hour or in the convenience of your home or a venue of your choice at a cost of $100 per hour.A private class generally enables you to complete courses in a shorter period of time. Classes offered privately are listed below.
